TREK works with the Houston metropolitan organizations and agencies in identifying the transportation needs of our Partner company members and their employees. Below are helpful links to those associations and agencies:
|METRO Transit provides great transit for Houston area customers. Their New Bus Network greatly improves time and opportunity for more commuters coming into Houston.
|The Woodlands Express operates three weekday Park & Ride lots located conveniently around The Woodlands. Destinations include the Texas Medical Center, Greenway Plaza, as well as the Central Business District of Houston.
|Commute Solutions, part of H-GAC, helps the entire Houston metropolitan area find a better way to work.|
|H-GAC - the Houston-Galveston Area Council - is the regional coordinating agency through which local governments consider issues and cooperate in solving area wide problems. Through H-GAC, local governments also initiate efforts in anticipating and preventing problems, saving public funds. It operates in a 13-county region surrounding Houston and Harris county.|
|Green Houston is part of the City of Houston's Office of Sustainability, emphasizing a higher quality of living in Houston through environmentally friendly processes and programs.|
|BikeHouston is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization on a mission to transform our city by creating safe bikeways to improve the quality of life of all Houstonians. We do this through partnering with the City and other organizations to expand the mileage and access to high quality bike lanes and trails, to educate all road users, and to enhance enforcement of the laws that save lives.|
|RIDES is a curb-to-curb subsidized program that allows eligible customers and participating agencies to purchase transportation services at a significant discount. The customer/agency pays 50% of the total trip cost.|
